Is NXT planning to repackage Johnny Gargano in the near future? This is something fans have been speculating about ever since his feud with current NXT Champion Tomasso Ciampa ended, and it looks like it might now be in the cards.
Following his loss to The Velveteen Dream tonight on NXT, Johnny Wrestling sent out the following Tweet.
An indication that Gargano's mind is now a little... broken, perhaps?
It'll be interesting to see if Johnny actually becomes a heel or simply changes his attitude and gains a bit more edge. Either way, it's probably a smart move, as there wasn't really anywhere else they could take his current persona without putting the belt on him.
