Just in case (by some miracle) you still thought that recent Adam Cole/Pat McAfee confrontation on the former's radio show was a shoot...

McAfee showed up on NXT to guest announce The Undisputed ERA's Tag-Team Championship match against Imperium, and even though he and Adam Cole had appeared to match things up earlier in the night, the former NFL player couldn't resist taking a few little (sorry) jabs at the Panama City Playboy.

In the end, Cole walked over to confront him, and when McAfee responded with "he's an angry elf isn't he?" (lol), the former NXT Champion threw water in his face. Both men were then held apart by security - even Triple H and Shawn Michaels hot involved - but McAfeee charged back and knocked Cole out cold with one of his signature punt kicks (Randy Orton wants a word).

This has proven to be a little divisive, but most would have to agree that the whole angle has been very well handled so far, and this brilliantly set up what we assume will be a match between the two at some point.

Is Adam Cole face now? He certainly seems to be in this situation, but it'll be interesting to see if the rest of the UE blame him for their loss after becoming distracted by his ringside scuffle. Does this signal a parting of ways for the stable? We'll have to wait and see.
