Rhea Ripley Says She Wants To Remain In NXT "For A Long, Long Time" When Asked About Main Roster Callup

When NXT Superstar Rhea Ripley was asked about potentially making the leap to WWE's main roster, she made it clear that she's more than happy being part of the Wednesday night show for the foreseeable future.

Late last year, Rhea Ripley caught the attention of fans in a way that ensured she quickly became one of the top female stars in NXT. After winning the NXT Women's Championship, she competed at WrestleMania in a match against Charlotte Flair many believed would serve as her move to the main roster.

Unfortunately, it didn't, and we've since seen Ripley fall ever so slightly down the card. She remains a big part of the Wednesday night show, however, and she's been feuding with members of the Robert Stone Brand in recent weeks.

Is a main roster callup on the horizon, though?

In an interview with Newsweek, Ripley made it clear that she's more than happy with where she is right now. "I don’t think I can ever outgrow NXT. There is always something coming up and I honestly want to be in NXT for a long long time, Whether that’s the case or not, I don’t know, I don’t have that call," she explained.

"I feel like I have so much more to do here. Whether that’s singles matches or whatever, I love NXT and I love being a part of it. And I hope I’m here for longer. I guess we’ll see."

It's certainly going to be interesting seeing what NXT does with Ripley in the months to come, and we can only hope WWE starts using her in a slightly more effective way than they are now.
