Shawn Michaels recently made his return to in-ring competition at Crown Jewel and while it's not clear if and when he'll wrestle again, the Heartbreak Kid remains a big part of the NXT brand.
However, it turns out that it's even bigger than we realised because as well as helping the young talent, he's now told Edge and Christian that he's even been helping write and produce shows.
"To [Triple H] and I, clearly, [NXT] is his baby, but I mean, I’m all in," he revealed. "Yeah, they’ve got me hook, line, and sinker. And it’s funny because he kind of hired me like, ‘just stick your big toe in and see how you like it. Just do a couple of times a week.' And then, of course, whatever it is, two years later, I’m full scale helping to write TVs and doing it all!"
"I’m so far in, there’s no way I’m getting out and I have no desire to get out because it’s a blast. It really is." It's good to know that Michaels is involved with WWE in such a large capacity, even if it is behind the scenes. The fact he's shaping Superstars of the future is definitely a good thing and if and when Triple H takes over the main roster, you'd best believe HBK will be involved.
