NXT UK's first ever TakeOver got off to a great start with an excellent tag-team match to crown the promotion's first Tag-Champions.
The team of former NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate and Trent Seven, aka Mustache Mountain, put up a hell of a fight and almost got the job done, but in the end the onslaught of The Grizzled Young Veterans was just too much for them to handle.
At the conclusion of the bout, Bate was taken out of the equation with a Doomsday Device/suicide dive combo, leaving Seven to suffer the Ticket To Mayhem which kept him down for the 3-count.
