The Latest Suspect In The Attack On Former NXT Champion Aleister Black Is... Nikki Cross?

Last night's instalment of NXT brought us an unlikely new suspect in the recent attack on former NXT Champion Aleister Black, as (former?) SAnitY member Nikki Cross was spotted near the scene of the incident.

There's nothing like a good "whodunit" wrestling angle (well, as long as it's done right), and NXT has been handling the current Aleister Black attack situation very well so far.

There are already several suspects - with current champ Tommaso Ciampa being pushed as the most likely perpetrator - and now it looks like we can add a female Superstar to the list.

Having Nikki Cross be the one who laid out Black would certainly be a left field choice, but it doesn't exactly leave a lot of room for the former NXT Champion to get his revenge one he returns from injury - unless WWE is planning on introducing inter-gender matches, and that's almost certainly not going to happen.

At any rate, we'll see how things play out. In the meantime, check out Cross' amazing response to the footage below.
