The Velveteen Dream Returns On NXT And Takes Out The Undisputed ERA

The Velveteen Dream has been out of action for months recovering from an injury, but the mega-popular Superstar finally made his return this week on NXT to seek revenge on the men that put him on the shelf.

The Dream has returned!

Last night on NXT, The Undisputed ERA went on a rampage trying to find out where Tommaso Ciampa was after he took them out with a steel pipe last week. They eventually found him, but got more than they bargained for when The BroserWeights joined the fray, setting up a six-man tag match for the main event.

The Blackheart ended up getting the win after hitting Project Ciampa on Kyle O'Reailly, but things were far from over. The ERA proceeded to beat-down Dunne and Riddle on the outside, leaving Ciampa vulnerable for a merciless mugging.

Adam Cole sprayed a yellow "X" on his TakeOver: Portland opponent's back, but before he could inflict any more damage, The Velveteen Dream appeared on the top rope and attacked all four members of the faction.

Roderick Strong was the man most directly responsible for putting The Dream on the shelf, so expect that to be Velveteen's first feud.
