Dave Meltzer has reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that three NXT Superstars have quietly been released by WWE this week. The most noteworthy name is Tian Bing, a Chinese wrestler signed by WWE in 2016. At the time, there was a lot of hype surrounding his signing as WWE believed he would be a huge star for them in China. For some reason, that didn't work out.

This is a surprise, especially as he was entered into the WrestleMania 33 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. It seems that in the years that have followed, WWE lost some faith in the Superstar.

It's also said that Jason Cheng and Gabriel Ealy have been released. If their names don't ring a bell, don't fret because neither of them
have really been given much TV time. Ealy's twin brother Uriel was actually released several months ago. It's possible WWE just wants them to go and make a name for themselves elsewhere but, for now, it appears as if their futures aren't going to lie within WWE.
