WWE NXT UK star Tyler Bate is set to challenge WALTER for the Progress World Championship at Hello Wembley on September 30th.  The show will also feature several NXT UK stars as Toni Storm looks to dethrone ‘The Queen’ Jinny for the Progress Women’s World Championship in a triple threat match that includes Millie McKenzie as the second contender. Trent Seven will also battle former Impact Wrestling competitor Doug Williams.

The Progress show recently announced the final indie match for Matt Riddle as he’s set to take on Mark Haskins. Progress World champion WALTER commented to The Daily Star on the bout and Tyler Bate with the following:

“Tyler is a phenomenal athlete and pro wrestler. He is only 21-years-old and we all can only imagine what the future will have in store for him. I also respect his high ‘Pro Wrestling IQ’. That being said; even though he is more mature than his age in the ring, I don’t think he is outside of it. He portrays himself in a way that I cannot respect, because I think he does not take it seriously enough at times. His time will come, but it won’t be at Wembley.”
