Tyler Breeze Returned To NXT Last Night To Set Up A Title Match At NXT TAKEOVER: XXV

For a multitude of reasons, some WWE Superstars simply don't take off on the main roster the same way they did in NXT. Elias has flourished since being called up to RAW but Tyler Breeze went from stealing the show in matches against Jushin "Thunder" Liger to being a jobber.

Well, Breeze made his return to the developmental brand last night to challenge NXT North American Champion The Velveteen Dream at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: XXV event.

Breeze was seemingly asked to fill in for Dominik Dijakovic after he was forced to undergo knee surgery that looks set to keep him on the shelf for at least three months. This match has a lot of potential, though, and is a good example of how NXT can use underutilised main roster talent.

Are you excited for the 25th TakeOver special when it takes place on June 1st?
