Last night's "New Year's Evil" edition of NXT 2.0 was headlined by Tomasso Ciampa defending the NXT Championship against Bron Breakker, a Superstar we know Vince McMahon views as a future WrestleMania main eventer. It was a solid match that saw Breakker kick out of the Fairy Tale Ending near the end of the match.

After a brief battle on the second rope, Bron managed to hit a bulldog before locking in the Steiner Recliner for a submission victory. Ciampa gave his nod of approval to the young up-and-comer after the match, but it's what happened after NXT 2.0 went off the air we want to focus on.

Former WCW and WWE Tag Team Champion Rick Steiner saw his son win the NXT Championship and joined him in the ring to celebrate. This marks the first time Rick has stepped foot in a WWE ring since the early 90s, and you have to wonder whether this could be leading to The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott) finally being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
