The latest edition of WWE NXT for January 15, 2020 took place at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The Undisputed ERA attacked Keith Lee during his opening promo. Tommaso Ciampa made the save. Later, Ciampa cut a promo and The Undisputed ERA attacked him, too, until Johnny Gargano came out to fight them off. Then, later still, Gargano and Ciampa agreed to face Moustache Mountain at Worlds Collide and were almost attacked again by The Undisputed ERA. However, Lee came to help out and tossed around some members of the security team that separated them.

— The Broserweights (Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne) defeated Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews by pinfall to advance to round 2 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.

— Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) defeated The Time Splittlers (Alex Shelley and Kushida) by pinfall to advance to round 2 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.

— Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Lio Rush and Tyler Breeze by pinfall to earn a spot in the Fatal 4-Way for the Cruiserweight Championship at Worlds Collide against Angel Garza and two NXT UK stars to be determined.

— Bianca Belair won the battle royal to earn a shot at Rhea Ripley's NXT Women's Championship for TakeOver: Portland. During this match, Tegan Nox and Kacy Catanzaro made their returns, Chelsea Green didn't enter as earlier in the night, Robert Stone pulled her from it, Mercedes Martinez made her official debut, and several lesser-seen talent (Jessi Kamea, MJ Jenkins, etc) wrestled.
