Cora Jade and Masha Slamovich will finally collide.
Ever since the TNA Knockouts Champion made her surprise appearance during NXT last month, Cora Jade has had an issue with the TNA star. Since then, the 24-year-old has taunted Slamovich on multiple occasions, with some of those appearances costing the TNA Knockouts Champion a match.
However, on TNA Impact! Cora Jade finally pushed the boundaries by ambushing Slamovich. It actually started with Tessa Blanchard, who was supposed to compete on tonight’s episode. However, the third generation star weaseled out a match. The crowd was absolutely brutal with Blanchard by notably chanting, “she’s a racist” and “please don’t wrestle”, but all she did was fuel that anger into her promo even further.
Masha Slamovich actually came out and wrestled instead. The Knockouts Champion squashed her opponent and once the belt rang, Jade viciously attacked Slamovich. Tessa stood by and watched happily. It was then made official later that evening, Cora Jade will challenge Masha Slamovich for the Knockouts Championship at Sacrifice. But that wasn’t the only match confirmed for the upcoming pay-per-view.
Wes Lee re-ignited his feud with The Rascalz when his lackeys Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe ruined their chance to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz got a measure of revenge on Impact by beating the NXT duo in less than five minutes.
Unimpressed, Wes Lee got on the mic and challenged Miguel, Wentz, and Ace Austin to a six-man tag match at Sacrifice. The trio agreed.
It'll be a fun match between the two teams, though the booking here should be interesting. Lee got the last laugh in their feud in 2024 by beating Wentz in a violent Street Fight. Can Wentz and Miguel return the favor on March 14? We’ll find out!
