TNA’s biggest show of the summer is here.
In the main event, Trick Williams will defend the TNA World Championship for the fourth time. Though he’s been successful, the TNA World Champion hasn’t exactly played fair. That’s because Trick Williams has aligned himself with First Class, who has done everything to make sure that Williams remains the top dog of NXT.
However, First Class will be reeling from the effects of the four way ladder match, so the TNA World Champion will have to fend for himself. Williams has to deal with a hungry challenger who’s trying to win his first world title (Mike Santana) and a former World Champion who’s looking to avenge his loss at Battleground (Joe Hendry). Who will walk out of New York as the TNA World Champion?
In a first ever title vs. title match, Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich will put their respective TNA and NXT Women’s Championships on the line. Both women have gotten the better of one another throughout the build, though Slamovich came out looking very strong this past week.
Many people have pegged Jacy Jayne as the most beatable champion in NXT history; Will Jayne shock the masses by beating Masha Slamovich and becoming the first woman to hold the TNA Knockouts and NXT Women’s title at the same time?
