Since Returning to Impact Wrestling on March 16, 2017, LAX has been a highlight of the tag team division for the promotion. They won their 1st Tag Team titles the following week and have been a force to be reckoned with, defeating the likes of Decay (Abyss and Crazzy Steve) to Veterans of War (Mayweather and Wilcox).

However, all that changed on September 28 when LAX lost to newcomers Jake and Dave Christ (Ohio V. Everything) and since then the two teams have been feuding, looking to prove who’s the best tag team on the Impact Roster.

This past Thursday, it was LAX’s final chance for the gold as their careers were on the line. Santana and Ortiz were able to secure the victory and capture the Tag Team Championship for the second time!
