Despite being officially gone from the company, the tapings involving Eli Drake are still being aired, so the former World champion and Eddie Edwards will still receive a title shot against The Lucha Brothers on next week’s episode.

The match-up was announced thanks to the make-shift duo's success in recent weeks over established tag teams, including former Impact Tag-Team champions LAX.

While the result is not in question, it should still be a great match-up between the four talented wrestlers. Even if Drake wasn’t fired from the company, the result wouldn’t have been in doubt due to Pentagon Jr. & Fenix’s current feud with LAX.

The Tag-Team champions are currently set to defend their titles against Santana & Ortiz at the company’s next pay-per-view, Rebellion, on April 27th.
