A Second Season Of THE EDGE AND CHRISTIAN SHOW Is Finally In The Works

Despite being a tad hit and miss in places, the first season of The Edge & Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness was still downright hilarious. The chemistry between the Tag Team Champions turned bitter rivals turned BFFs was as fun to watch as ever, and with plenty of cameos and tongue in cheek humour poking fun at the wrestling business, fans have been anxiously waiting for news of a second season ever since.

So, when is it happening? During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Christian explained where things currently are in terms of production and his main goal for the second season.

"Season two is in development stages, so there is nothing definite in terms of a date. We are laying out the content that’s going to go into the show, but I was also robbed in the ‘Chumpstain Challenge’ [trivia contest against Edge] and I’ll be looking to redeem myself in season two."

It sounds like the show is probably quite a way off then, though it would be surprising if the beloved duo doesn't end up shooting at least some content during this year's WrestleMania in Orlando. Chances are it could premiere in 2017, but we just don't know at this stage. This is a positive update for those of you worried that The Edge & Christian Show may not return, though, so here's hoping we get more news on the WWE Network series in the very near future!
