AJ Styles Claims His "Too Sweet" Gesture With Finn Balor At TLC Last Night Wasn't Planned Ahead Of Time

AJ Styles and Finn Balor set tongues waging last night when they threw up the "too sweet" hand gesture after their match at TLC. However, despite speculation to the contrary, Styles says it wasn't Vince's idea.

In light of the recent brouhaha involving WWE sending a cease and desist letter to ROH's The Bullet Club (or more specifically, The Young Bucks) for using the old Clique "too sweet" hand gesture, many assumed that it was Vince McMahon's idea for former Bullet Club leaders Finn Balor and AJ Styles to throw up the sign after the their impressive TLC match last night.

However, when Remezcla editor Luis Paez-Pumar sent out a Tweet suggesting this very scenario, The Phenomenal One sent out the following response:



There's no reason not to buy AJ's explanation, but on the other hand, the "too sweet" in the midst of everything going on does seem like a total Vince move!
