AJ Styles is arguably the best wrestler in the world today, so it's easy to understand why many WWE fans aren't thrilled at the prospect of him battling Shane McMahon at this year's WrestleMania. Of course, for a while, it appeared as if Styles would wind up in the main event, but that quickly changed, and he's now set to face the SmackDown Live Commissioner instead.

During a recent interview, Styles was asked if he views himself as being too good for McMahon and revealed why he's actually excited about the match and being given the opportunity to have such a high profile bout against someone known for stealing the show. He also seemed to indicate that he and Shane have some big ideas in mind to make this a match to remember!

One thing's for sure, it's going to be very interesting to see how things play out here come April 2nd...

"Well, first of all, at least you're getting AJ Styles at WrestleMania, that's a good thing. And Shane McMahon has been in the ring with some pretty high profile performers like, Kurt Angle, and that's a match that is stuck in my head forever, that performance, and the fact that he goes all out when he gets in the ring- or out of the ring, on top of a cage. Ya know? The guy is crazy. So, Shane's exciting to watch and not everybody's been in the ring with Shane McMahon, so, that's an opportunity that not many people had, that I may have the opportunity to get in the ring with him and I'm great with that, ya know? I want to be a part of it and for those who think that 'Oh, this [match] isn't going to be that good' I love challenges, so does Shane McMahon, so bring it on."
