Big Cass suffered an ACL tear during a street fight with former tag-team partner Enzo Amore a few months ago, and has been on the shelf ever since. Initial medical reports indicated that he might be out of action for up to 9 months, but it looks like he may be cleared to return sooner.

According to PWInsider.com, Cass was spotted backstage at last night's Raw taping in Dallas. Though he wasn't in his ring-gear, there's speculation that he might be in the final stages of being cleared and could be back on TV within he next few weeks - possibly even by the time WrestleMania 34 rolls around.

Before his injury, Cass seemed primed for a main-event push, so it'll be interesting to see how he's utilized upon his return.
