Braun Strowman Is Expected To Miss Up To Six Months Of Action After Undergoing Elbow Surgery
Despite initial reports indicating that Bruan Strowman would only be out of action for a little over a month, WWE has now provided an update on The Monster Among men's status, and it is not good news...
WWE has just announced that Braun Strowman is expected to miss up to six months of in-ring action following an injury he suffered during his recent match with Roman Reigns at PayBack.
Immediately after the assault on Strowman’s injured shoulder and elbow by the former WWE Champion, The Monster Among Men left Raw in an ambulance and was able to get back to the United States for an evaluation this past Wednesday. Following the medical consultation, Strowman underwent surgery on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala. with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas. During the procedure, it was revealed, among his other injuries, that Strowman's elbow had been shattered, and he is expected to miss up to six months of action as a result.
Clearly this injury is a lot more serious than we initially thought, as the last report indicated that Strowman would only be out for about 4-8 weeks.
The Monster Among Men had established himself as one of the best big men on the roster, and was well on his way to becoming the top heel on Raw, so this really couldn't have come at a worse time.
We wish Braun a speedy recovery, and hope he makes it back sooner than expected.
