Last night's episode of RAW kicked off with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring alongside Paul Heyman. It didn't take long until his Royal Rumble challenger, Bobby Lashley, made his presence felt and you'd best believe harsh words were exchanged between the two men.
Lashley started by saying it was an honour to finally share the ring with Lesnar, but claimed The Beast had spent the past two decades avoiding him.
Lesnar argued that Lashley only had himself to blame for failing to climb the ladder of success as quickly as he had, and pointed out that, either way, he'd have beaten the All-Mighty with ease. With that, the WWE Champion had a mic drop moment when he called his Royal Rumble opponent a "Brock Lesnar wannabe."
Following Lesnar's departure, The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander) attacked Lashley, further cementing him as a babyface prior to a possible heel turn for The Beast.
