Dio Maddin Would Like To "Retire" Brock Lesnar Once He Moves Up To WWE's Main Roster

As we told you a little earlier today, Dio Maddin will no longer serve as a commentator on RAW and is instead returning to the Performance Center to train as a wrestler. However, he wants a piece of The Beast!

As we told you a little earlier today, it was revealed on last night's episode of WWE Backstage that the reason Dio Maddin hasn't returned to the RAW broadcast team is because he's hoping to continue his wrestling career. Joining the commentary team on Monday nights wasn't his idea and was a Paul Heyman suggestion according to multiple outlets.

Now, Maddin is back at the Performance Center in Orlando and based on a Tweet he's sent out, it seems as if he'd like to square off with Brock Lesnar somewhere down the line.

That makes sense based on what happened on RAW when The Beast put him through the announce table with an F-5 but it's not exactly a match wrestling fans are crying out for and by the time he does reach RAW or SmackDown, who knows where Lesnar will be.

Maddin signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2016 and has been signed with the company ever since. Check out his Tweet below:
