Drew McIntyre Is Said To Be Unhappy With "Creative And Money;" May Let Contract Expire

An update on another WWE Superstar's current status here, and it sounds like former champ Drew McIntyre might be thinking about moving on to greener pastures...

A rumor recently did the rounds which claimed that Drew McIntyre wasn't happy with his current position in WWE, and we now have an update via PW Torch's Wade Keller.

Drew wasn't on SmackDown this week, and while there's a chance that had more to do with his gruelling WrestleMania match, Keller has heard that he might be thinking about parting ways with the company once his contract runs out.

“There’s been talk that he is unhappy with his current situation in WWE, and I’m hearing it’s kind of a mix of creative and money and what kind of offer he’s getting for a renewal. It sounds like WWE is taking seriously the possibility that he is going to let his deal run out rather than agree to something that he believes is less than he deserves or less than he what he thinks he has coming.”

The Scottish Warrior has been involved in a rivalry with Sheamus and Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, but he seems to have mended fences with the Irishman and will likely remain an ally of the Brawling Brutes for now.

He's been having great, hard-hitting matches (banger after banger!), but it's understandable that he'd be a little frustrated after previously holding the title and competing at the top of the card.

Maybe a heel turn would freshen things up?

Their biggest mistake was unifying the titles. Now they have a bunch of main eventers who all look weak since no one can beat Roman.

@Himura - can only hope with the draft that will force a separation of the titles again.
As... interesting as a 1000 day run is, with Reigns as a part timer it has removed the titles from a lot of events.
The only slight bonus has been that the Intercontinental and US titles have been pushed a little more giving them a degree of prestige back
