Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 and has shared the ring with The Beast on several occasions.
Despite being caught up in Vince McMahon's sexual misconduct lawsuit, Lesnar recently returned to WWE following a two-year absence. At SummerSlam, he attacked John Cena, setting the stage for one final match with the Leader of the Cenation at next month's Wrestlepalooza.
Adam Glyn cornered the Scottish Warrior for an interview and asked him to name his dream match. "The younger generation, let's go with a Bron Breakker," he said. "We've never had a singles match."
When talk turned to the returning Lesnar, McIntyre shared, "I know him and Cena, when it happens, it's going to be a big one. I know he wants to get even with Drew McIntyre, since I beat him for my first world title at WrestleMania, who knows? Maybe [he'll be] chasing down Drew McIntyre next. I welcome the beast when I'm champion, if he wants to challenge me for the title."
Championship gold could be in McIntyre's future, as he's expected to challenge Cody Rhodes for the title when the American Nightmare returns from shooting the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett were recently released by WWE, and while there was speculation that it might be a work, all signs now point to them being done with the company.
McIntyre, who has also been fired and forced to reinvent himself, believes they'll both find success outside the company.
"I know Kross well, very talented. Scarlett, and no matter what they do, they're gonna land on their feet," he noted. "I don't have to give them advice. They know exactly what they're doing."
"For everybody else, it's just you’ve got to keep putting the work in. You've got to find what separates you from everybody else, as long as you're working your ass off, and leaving no stone unturned, have been accountable to yourself, to the person in the mirror, don’t worry about social [media], but use social well. Take everybody on your particular journey. That’s what I do," he added.
The former WWE Champion was recently spotted attending Vince McMahon's 80th birthday party in New York City, but decided against sharing any details about the billionaire's bash when he said, "I’m not going to comment on it on the internet, am I?"
