At last year's WrestleMania, Finn Balor came to the ring flanked by members of the LGBTQ community. It was a memorable entrance and one which showed a big step forward in WWE's thinking. Now, the Extraordinary Man Who Can Do Extraordinary Things has shed some light on how that came about and it sounds like his idea was one which he actually had to fight for over a long period of time.

"That was something I honestly believed in for a very long time, and I had pitched, and pitched, and pitched to a lot of different departments in WWE and it had been shot down, and shot down and it wasn’t until Stephanie got wind of the idea that it started to fall in to place. It’s easier for a message to come down the line of command than it is to go up the line of command."

Two years ago, Stephanie McMahon actually promised that we would see more LGBTQ characters on WWE TV but that still hasn't come to pass. This entrance was a great way to embrace fans from that community and a step in the right direction but the company still has a long way to go. What do you guys think? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section below.
