Finn Balor recently returned from a serious shoulder injury, but thanks to Jinder Mahal, The Demon is back on the shelf. That's because the careless 3MB alum hit Balor with a forearm far too stiffly during their match on RAW, and while it's yet to be confirmed by WWE, Wrestling Observer Radio's Bryan Alvarez has revealed that the Irish wrestler failed concussion impact tests on Tuesday.

It's likely he'll only be out of action for a few weeks, but this isn't good news, especially when it appeared as if he's about to embark on a programme with Bray Wyatt. Balor can obviously still perform promos, but concussions are very serious and this could have a lasting impact on his career.

Rumour has it that Balor was actually knocked unconscious when Mahal hit him but woke up when his head hit the mat. Whether or not Mahal will be punished remains to be seen, but it's hard to imagine him receiving any sort of push on SmackDown Live now he's put one of RAW's biggest names on the injured list. Here's how the concussion occurred during the match between the two:
