Former NXT Champion Samoa Joe Seems To Be Teasing A Return To In-Ring Action On Instagram

It's been nearly three months since the Samoan submission machine injured his foot in a match on RAW, and while unfortunately WrestleMania doesn't seem to be in the cards for Joe, a return soon seems imminent.

Back in early January, Samoa Joe suffered a foot injury in a match against Rhyno. This put a halt in the Samoan submission machine’s momentum as he just recently returned from injury and was seemingly on course to feud with John Cena.

Joe’s not listed for any WWE events until the European tour in May. This could simply be a precaution and he could always be added if he's cleared to return to action before then. During an interview on Booker T's Heated Conversations podcast, Joe said that his return to the ring is "a week to week thing." Earlier today on his Instagram, Joe posted some art of himself holding the WWE Universal Championship with the caption, "Soon."
