It’s official: Jordynne Grace has signed with WWE!

Both Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and PWInsider confirmed that the former TNA Knockouts Champion had officially signed a full time WWE contract. The offer was reportedly made before her final TNA match against Tessa Blanchard at Genesis.

Grace signed the contract immediately, as WWE didn’t want her to hit the free market. Though it’s doubtful that Grace would’ve signed with AEW as the former TNA star made it clear that she wanted to sign with WWE as well.

The writing has pretty much been on the wall since Grace made her shocking debut in the 2024 Royal Rumble. Though she didn't win, she was showcased nicely throughout the match and the 28-year-old had been featured on NXT throughout the year. Grace notably challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at WWE Battleground.

There’s no confirmation on when Grace will make her debut, but PWInsider’s report states that she’ll be in Indianapolis this Saturday, which is the site of the 2025 Royal Rumble. Neither report indicates where Grace will go, though given her history with NXT, it wouldn’t be surprising if she makes her way to the developmental brand first.

This is a strong get for WWE as Grace was one of the best female wrestlers who wasn’t signed to the company. She was a intergral part of TNA and Grace handled being the face of the promotion pretty well.

The former TNA Knockouts Champion doesn’t need the developmental brand at this point, but neither does Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer, so her possibly joining the developmental brand would only add to the stacked women’s roster that NXT has. TNA deserves some kudos here as well. Grace revealed during her interview with Chris Van Vliet that the company actually let her out of her contract early. She first discussed Scott D’Amore and his firing before dropping the important information regarding her TNA contract.

"He [Scott D’Amore] was awesome. During my time there, he was the best to me. Then, he left. Not willingly, but he did leave. I think it was a shock to everyone. The good thing is, I think everything is going to work out. I feel like Scott is going to land somewhere and he’s going to help a company very much. I don’t know 100%, I just have a feeling. When he left, I was very emotional when he left, like a lot of people. It was so out of the blue. We found out on a Zoom call.

It was very corporate, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but at the time, I was like, I only really signed here because I had faith in Scott that he was going to do good things for me and the company. He is the one that kind of set in motion the whole rebirth of TNA. I told them I wanted my contract to be cut, basically. It was supposed to be until October of this year, and I was like, ‘I want to get out in January’ of this year. Kudos to them, they heard me and let me, I’m very lucky for that. Probably, I’d still be at TNA. It’s a testament to them as a company hearing a talent say, ‘I’m not happy, I want this.’ I feel lucky in that regard.”
