Remember the Enzo Amore incident back at Survivor Series during the RAW vs. Smackdown, battle of the tag team champions match?

Well, the former WWE cruiserweight champion decided to crash the pay-per-view and cause a commotion, forcing security to kick Enzo Amore out the building and ban the former WWE star turned rap star.

Many believed that this was a publicity stunt designed to garner attention to his career as rapper Real1, but according to the former WWE superstar at the West Side Comedy Club, his actions had nothing to do with his music career:

“It had nothing to do with my music,” stated Amore, who released his first rap album the same week of the event. “I did it because I knew for a fact that Vince McMahon would hate it more than anything in the world, but he would respect the [frick] out of it. That’s why I did it. It was about one person. I proved to him that I can beat him at his own game of statistics and numbers. I don’t even work for your company, I broke no laws, and I bought a ticket.”

Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso attended the show and provided some videos of the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion explaining his actions.
