25 year old Zachary Madsen attacked WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart during this year's Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Brooklyn and he's now scheduled to appear back in court on Tuesday, July 9th.

He was originally going to appear in Kings Criminal Court on Tuesday, May 28th but his lawyer asked for a continuance of the case. Madsen was charged with two counts of 3rd degree assault and trespassing and will now face those next month.

If found guilty, he would end up facing up to a year in jail for each count of assault as it's a Class A misdemeanourr in New York state.

Information which has surfaced since the incident point to Madsen being a very disturbed individual so it will be interesting seeing how his case is handled. As always, we'll be sure to keep you guys updated but feel free to weigh in with your thoughts below.
