With The Revival working WWE Live events this weekend, it seems as if the company isn't planning to grant Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder their releases any time soon. Now, Dave Meltzer has shed some light on what's happening and it sounds like while they have indeed asked to leave, WWE will hold on to them until the bitter end if it means stopping them from joining All Elite Wrestling.

"It’s not a secret. Everyone in the world knows…it doesn’t take a genius to know that they would probably love to go to AEW and work with The Young Bucks because they know they’re gonna get their 20-minute matches," he revealed. Unfortunately for the Revival, he added that the duo will likely have to keep working until after their contracts expire and that's April 2020.

Dawson, meanwhile, has seemingly acknowledged these reports on social media by saying, "Don’t matter where we go, we’re stealing the show. #FTR" Interestingly, Sasha Banks responded to that with a GIF saying "Take me with you" so perhaps she's equally unhappy with her position in the company despite being pencilled in for a match against Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble PPV.
