Here's Why Nikki Cross Wasn't Brought To SMACKDOWN LIVE With The Rest Of Sanity

The Superstar Shakeup was a lot of fun and seeing what sort of impact Sanity is going to have on the main roster promises to be very interesting indeed. The trio of Eric Young, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe made one heck of an impact in NXT, of course, and seeing them go to war with everyone from The Bar to The Bludgeon Brothers should heat up the blue brand in a big way.

However, one question wrestling fans everywhere are asking is where is Nikki Cross? She was a huge part of the stable and an argument could be made that it won't be the same without her.

Well, Dave Meltzer has provided an explanation and it sounds like it boils down to those three having achieved everything they can there while there's still room for her to grow as a performer.

"I’m surprised no Nikki Cross. I think maybe they’re going to do something with Nikki Cross and Shayna Baszler because Shayna is with the exception of Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler is really weak on opponents in NXT but I think she would have been good for that act on the main roster. SAnitY can be a babyface team, they could be a heel team either one mixed with all the other teams they’ve got. You know, it’s new matches."

What do you think about Cross remaining in NXT to compete for the woman's title?
