Hulk Hogan Says The Superstars That Didn’t Accept His Apology "Don’t Understand the Brotherhood Of Wrestling"

Hulk Hogan recently apologized for his racist remarks, but some did not believe he showed genuine remorse. Now, Hogan is claiming that they simply "don’t understand the bond and the brotherhood of wrestling."

Oh dear.

Following Hulk Hogan's recent apology for the racist remarks he made several years ago, Titus O'Neil, The New Day and others released statements criticizing the WWE Hall of famer for not showing any real remorse and only coming across as being sorry that someone recorded him spewing his nonsense.

Well, Hogan has now responded in a thoughtful, measured manner, addressing these concerns and promising to learn from his mistakes.

Nah, not really. In fact, For all intents and purposes he's blamed his fellow Superstars for not following "the Carny Code"  and being unwilling to sweep his shitty behavior under the rug.

Here's what he had to say while appearing on Bill Apter's show:

“A lot of people accepted my apology. And a lot of people heard what they wanted to hear and a lot of the narrative that came out of the meeting was on point. A lot of the narrative was really different. I was surprised to hear some people interpreted what I said that I was just sorry I got caught on camera, or whatever they interpreted, but I never said that.

I just hope the brotherhood can get back to the way it was. Outside the ring, you’re supposed to protect your brother. In this case, it’s a situation where 75, 80, 90 percent of the wrestlers are protecting me and they’re giving me another chance to move forward. There’s just a few wrestlers that kinda like don’t understand the bond and the brotherhood of wrestling. If someone makes a mistake, you need to forgive them and move on and try to let them prove themselves.”

It's worth repeating that Titus and the others all said they were willing to forgive once they felt remorse and a willingness to change were shown. They clearly didn't.

What do you guys make of Hogan's comments? Sound off in the comments.
