It Sounds Like The Stone Cold Podcast Has Been Completely Dropped From The WWE Network

WWE Network cutbacks have led to a reduction in original programming on the online streaming service and it sounds like one of the casualties is Stone Cold Steve Austin's awesome live podcast...

Stone Cold Steve Austin hosts an extremely popular weekly podcast and a handful of episodes of that have aired on the WWE Network in the past. Those were extremely good fun as we got to see him question the likes of Vince McMahon, Mick Foley, and Brock Lesnar in a live setting. However, it's been quite some time since an instalment of that has aired on the streaming service.

It's also been a known fact for a while now that WWE is cutting back
its spending on original content for the network but where exactly does that leave Steve Austin's live shows for the company?

"Man, I don’t know. I don’t know," he admitted on a recent edition of his actual podcast. "That’s a good question. We signed up for 12 of those, we did 12, and then we stopped. So we’ll see if talks continue and sign that thing back up or not. But we fulfilled them, then we stopped." So, it doesn't sound particularly good for the show moving forward, does it?

It's not like the Texas Rattlesnake is going to suffer too much, though, as his podcast is still immensely popular. It's just a shame WWE doesn't see what a good addition it is to the Network!
