Jeff Hardy was recently cleared to return to in-ring action but it appears as if he may have put his WWE future in jeopardy after getting arrested on Saturday night for driving while impaired in Concord, North Carolina. The former WWE Champion ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail causing his car to spin into the middle of the right northbound lane (meaning it could have been much worse).

Hardy has now been suspended from driving for thirty days and is scheduled to appear in court on April 16th. Hardy currently has two Wellness Policy violations which carried over with his return to WWE last year. A third would result in his immediate termination but only if the substance he was intoxicated with was something other than marijuana or alcohol. With any luck, he's cleaned up his act.

Regardless, WWE has issued a statement on the matter saying, "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials." What does this mean for his rumoured WrestleMania match alongside his brother Matt and The Bar? For now, we're obviously going to have to just wait and see!
