On the latest edition of his podcast, Jerry "The King" Lawler reveals that he suffered a medical emergency just two weeks before WrestleMania. Apparently, the WWE Hall of Famer suffered a stroke at home on March 21st which left him unable to speak for almost three days. His face also sagged on one side but when he woke up on the Saturday morning, he was suddenly 100% better.

It's a rather tall tale but you can hear the story in full by listening to his podcast below where Lawler also details why the doctors were so shocked about his quick recovery before WrestleMania

The commentator (who called the Kickoff show alongside Jim Ross and Byron Saxton) also explains how he kept his stroke secret and who in WWE he decided to tell about it. No matter what happened, we're obviously glad he made a recovery and here's hoping he'' be calling matches for years to come!
