This weekend, John Cena is appearing at the Liverpool Comic Con in England. However, it will only be a flying visit for the Leader of the Cenation, because he's confirmed plans to wrestle at this Monday's RAW—his final match on the show—this Monday at Madison Square Garden in New York.
We don't know who Cena will face, but we'd bet on him putting the Intercontinental title on the line after defeating Dominik Mysterio for the belt earlier this week (that match took place in his hometown of Boston, and made him a Grand Slam Champion).
Cena will main event the show, which is also set to feature Becky Lynch defending the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri.
"The Last Time Is Now" tournament will also continue, with Solo Sikoa taking on a mystery opponent and Gunther set to do battle with NXT's Je’Von Evans.
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Bron Breakker opened up on what he's learned from Cena during his Retirement Tour. "It’s been an honor to learn from him. He’s a quality human being, and he makes himself approachable. We’ve developed an open line of communication, and I can’t say enough about him."
Asked if he could be the one to retire Cena, Breakker said, "There aren’t too many chances left, so it wouldn’t be something I would take lightly. If I get that chance, I’ll be ready."
Of course, it's worth pointing out that Gunther is expected to retire Cena, regaining his Intercontinental Championship in the process. There's always a chance that WWE plans to swerve us all, of course.
Who do you think Cena should face in his last ever match at Saturday Night's Main Event next month? As always, let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section below.
