A lot has changed in the WWE Locker Room in recent years, and while some of the veteran Superstars aren't on board with that (they don't think wrestlers should be playing video games backstage), it's for the best. After all, surely it's better for there to be a friendly atmosphere than one which sees talent bury each other and pull "ribs" on each other that are tantamount to bullying?
Talking on The Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle admitted that he doesn't remember ever being the subject of any serious pranks, but recalls hearing about Mark Henry being a victim of one.
"I don’t remember any serious ribs," Angle started. "I do remember when Mark Henry ate that sandwich. I didn’t believe it, I thought it was all bullsh*t. I didn’t know The Headbangers, [but] they got Mark a sandwich and crapped in it. Put it back in the wrapper, and I don’t know if it’s true or not, but Mark Henry actually ate it. That was pretty brutal."
"When I heard about that I thought it was the grossest thing I’ve ever heard," Angle continued. "You've got to be a real idiot to do that to someone."
If that happened...well, it makes sense why The Headbangers have been forgotten in the annals of wrestling history. Hopefully, the World's Strongest Man was able to get some revenge, but as we mentioned at the top of this post, it's definitely for the best that WWE has moved on from this era of "ribs."
