Massive Class-Action Concussion Lawsuit Filed Against WWE Has Been Dismissed

As you're no doubt well aware, over fifty former WWE Superstars came forward not too long ago to file a huge class-action lawsuit against the company for concussions they suffered but that's now been dismissed.

It's been confirmed today that WWE has won a class-action concussion lawsuit which was filed by over 50 former WWWF/WWF/WWE wrestlers. It alleged that the company didn't provide adequate protection to safeguard them from head trauma and many claimed that concussions caused them health issues later in life (which is entirely possible but hard to actually prove).

Judge Vanessa L. Bryan of the United States District Court of Connecticut dismissed all lawsuits against WWE and this is obviously a huge victory for the company. While it's feasible that many of these wrestlers didn't receive the protection they should have, research on concussions wasn't as prevalent when many of these Superstars wrestled as it is today so WWE may not have been at fault.

Regardless, the lawsuit felt like it was a cash grab by many of the people involved and so it's easy to see why it ultimately didn't get very far. Among those who attempted to sue WWE were
Mr. Wonderful, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Kamala, Road Warrior Animal, Earl Hebner, and King Kong Bundy. Many of them have vendettas against WWE and it's now safe to assume they won't ever be welcomed back!
