NXT Call-Ups Heavy Machinery Make Their In-Ring Debut On RAW And Defeat The Ascension

We saw Heavy Machinery in a somewhat bizarre Moment of Bliss segment last week on Raw, but the former NXT duo made their official in-ring debut tonight and gained a victory over The Ascension. Check it out.

"Steaks and weights, baby!"

NXT call-ups Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight, aka Heavy Machinery, made their in-ring debut tonight on Raw. The duo took on The Ascension, and made short work of the other team with their devastating finishing move, The Compactor.

Although the crowd didn't seem to know what to make of these guys at first (they were never a huge team in NXT, to be fair), they soon got into Dozovic's hi-jinks, and his "caterpillar elbow" got a big pop.

It'll be interesting to see how they're booked moving forward. NXT is adept at promoting a somewhat comedic Superstar while still establishing that they're a legitimate physical threat, but that's never been a strong suit of the main roster shows.

What did you guys think of Heavy Machinery's debut?
