Odyssey Jones Appears To Be Gone From WWE Despite Recently Debuting On RAW Alongside The New Day

Despite finally debuting on RAW last month, it seems Odyssey Jones is officially gone from WWE following the supposed emergence of pretty serious allegations. Find everything we know so far right here...

Odyssey Jones first signed with WWE in 2019 and made his NXT debut shortly thereafter. He was finally called up to the main roster in April 2023 and even named in the WWE Draft; despite that, Jones didn't officially show up on RAW until this August.

It looked like WWE had big plans for him as he was immediately involved with The New Day in a storyline which seemed to be building to Xavier Woods turning on Kofi Kingston.

Jones helped the babyfaces deal with The Final Testament but it now looks like he's gone from WWE. While the company has yet to comment, as of yesterday, he has been removed from the WWE.com roster page.

Here's what Dave Meltzer had to say about this unexpected development:

"He was taken off the roster page. My presumption, I mean, I’ve asked around, and if it had been any kind of a glitch or something I think by now it would have been corrected, or we’d have heard it’s a glitch. I’m relatively certain he’s done, but it has not been confirmed anywhere. I’ve heard a bunch of stories, but nothing that I would say is confirmed but it looks like he’s no longer with the company."

"But no mention on his angles done, no mention on the show. No clips of if he was injured or something, no acknowledgement of him at all. Kofi Kingston was on, and there was no acknowledgement of what they’ve been doing. So, I mean, he’s off, he’s gone. As far as the reasons why I think that that will probably come out or whatever it is."

"Obviously he was in for a push. It had nothing to do with how he was getting over, because he was doing really well. But there’s obviously a story that is probably going to come out in the next day or so I would guess. I don’t know. I mean, there’s certainly a lot of rumours around I’ll say that, but there’s nothing that I can confirm at this point in time."

Triple H even endorsed Jones on social media so Meltzer isn't wrong that it looked like the company had big things in store for the former NXT Superstar. While fans didn't appreciate what appeared to be an attempt to replace Big E with Jones, he still made a positive impression with his debut.

As for why he's suddenly departed the company, it unfortunately sounds like it may have something to do with domestic abuse allegations. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

It's being reported that Odyssey Jones absence is due to pending allegations of domestic abuse. No charges have been filed yet but it's said WWE is acting preventively to avoid a fiasco. My guess would be that should everything for Jones clear up they may bring him back, otherwise I'd say he is gone for good.

With current storylines I'd say we are moving towards a New Day break up with Woods turning on Kofi. Personally I would have like to see Odyssey Jones be the official 3rd member of New Day, but that's clearly off the table now.
