SMACKDOWN LIVE Superstar Tamina Looks Set To Be On The Shelf For Months Following Surgery

Tamina was last seen when she made a brief appearance in the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match but a new report points to her being absent from WWE programming for a while after undergoing surgery.

Tamina has never made much of an impact in WWE and while it looked like she might be getting a push with Lana by her side on SmackDown Live, that never amounted to anything. Now, any momentum she may have had has come to a crashing halt because the former Team B.A.D. member is currently recovering from a shoulder injury following her 1 minute, 19 seconds appearance in the Royal Rumble.

Apparently, Tamina had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff two days after the Royal Rumble PPV and the typical recovery time for that
is six months. Jeff Hardy actually underwent the same sort of procedure in October and there's still no word on when exactly he'll be back in action on RAW this year.

The last time Tamina was seen on SmackDown Live was during the January 2nd show when she teamed up with Carmella and Natalya to battle the
Riott Squad. Unfortunately, she probably won't be missed from the show and with no official statement from WWE, the company seems uninterested too!
