Last night's 25th anniversary edition of RAW proved to be fairly divisive. Despite most fans enjoying the trip down memory lane and having fun with the returning Legends etc, many expected something a lot bigger and more impactful than an IC title change to go down.

Still, despite the mixed reaction, it was actually the most watched episode of RAW since March 30, 205 - and that was the night after WrestleMania.

Here were the hourly numbers courtesy of Showbuzzdaily.com:

Hour 1: 4.803 million
Hour 2: 4.641 million
Hour 3: 4.147 million

That's an average of 4.503 million viewers, which is way up from last week's 3.250.

It's not really surprising that so many tuned in after all the hullabaloo, but after a decent percentage of viewers came away feeling a bit duped, it will be interesting to see if WWE can keep this momentum going in the buildup to 'Mania.
