Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson return to Revolution Pro Wrestling.
It was just confirmed that the former WWE Tag Team Champions would return to the UK promotion on September 13th at the Gordan Craig Theatre in Stevenage, England.
This isn’t the first time Gallows & Anderson were in Revolution Pro Wrestling. The duo were regulars in 2014/2015. The duo didn’t have many matches in the promotion, but given the fact that Anderson and Gallows were working at nearly every indie promotion known to man then it’s understandable why Revolution Pro Wrestling wasn’t their prime destination.
The former WWE stars were finally released from their contracts back in February 2025. Gallows and Anderson have talked about this on numerous occasions, citing that they just weren’t happy within the promotion in the last two and a half years.
“If you know us, you know our happiness in the last two and a half years wasn’t really there,” Anderson admitted to Fightful. “What we signed up for wasn’t what came to be. The things we were thinking of — ways to get out, and how do we do this? This isn’t working out, like we want out of here anyway.”
When WWE finally released them, Anderson felt nothing but relief. “So to get that call anyway, I’m telling you everything about this… it all worked out, and there’s zero resentment towards it,” he said. “It happened for a reason. I’m glad it happened. It needed to happen. I wanted it to happen.
It’s the most freeing I’ve felt in so long,” he said. “Whatever they did to do it, they got there. Great. I’m here now, and it’s a blessing. It’s an absolute blessing and I’m happy.”
The duo made their grand return teaming with The Young Bucks to take on Bullet Club War Dogs and won the eight man tag team match. Since then, Anderson and Gallows have been working in various promotions such as MLP, LPW, and WWC. At this point and time, the duo are just enjoying life on the indie scene.
It did seem as if Gallows and Anderson would make their returns to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, but they only had one match so far. There’s no word on whether New Japan offered them a new deal or not. In fact, there’s no word on whether Gallows and Anderson want a new deal with New Japan. For now, they’re just enjoying their freedom on the indie scene.
