There have been rumours swirling all week that the Greatest Royal Rumble - which is expected to be a four-hour show at the very least - will feature an hour-long interlude to allow for prayer. WWE could easily fill that time by going back to the Kickoff panel but it would kill the momentum of the show.

Now, Dave Meltzer has confirmed that the plan is indeed to have an intermission but it won't actually be anywhere near an hour. Instead, the current plan is to halt the action for around only 15 minutes.

That makes a lot of sense it can easily be filled by video packages and the like. During the early days of WWE PPVs, it was common for intermissions to take place so fans could go and use the restroom and to buy food and merchandise. However, this is the first time WWE has taken a break for prayer.
