Bronson Reed isn’t leaving WWE anytime soon.
Were you concerned that Bronson Reed was going to be released soon? Well, according to Fightful Select, that’s no longer a worry since their sources confirmed that the former North American Champion has recently re-signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion. There’s no word on what the exact length of the deal is nor the dollar amount his new contract is under.
Bronson Reed made his return on December 19, 2022 helping The Miz beat Dexter Lumis in a ladder match. That partnership didn’t last long and Reed went on to fight for the United States Championship on several occasions. The 37-year-old didn’t really hit his stride until August 2024 where he destroyed Seth Rollins with six Tsunami’s. That started to get Reed over as he destroyed everything left and right that started increasing his popularity.
He suffered an ankle injury following his involvement with the 2024 Wargames match that kept him out of action for a good portion of 2025. Reed made his return in May, helping Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker beat CM Punk and Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Since then, he’s been embroiled in a feud with Roman Reigns and his sneakers. Bronson is coming off a huge match over Reigns at Clash in Paris. The RAW star has been one of the bigger success stories from Triple H’s recent rehiring spree.
At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any plans for him in the main event scene, but Bronson is on the cusp of entering. He just needs a huge win. Hopefully, his time in the Vision allows him to slowly gain traction into the upper card scene.
Earlier this month, the WWE star spoke about his return and apparently, Reed didn’t find out about joining The Vision until days before his official return.
“For me, I had a bunch of ideas. I’m always coming up with ideas and things to pitch because you never know what’s going to land and what’s going to stick. I also know that every week things change. To try to have something six months in advance, ‘Maybe we can do this,’ maybe isn’t the smartest thing to pitch.
I was lucky enough, a few weeks after my surgery, Hunter [Triple H] rang me and I had a conversation with him. I remember him saying, ‘Don’t worry about your spot,’ because that’s what everyone worries about. He said, ‘When you’re good and healthy, you’ll come back and be in a good spot.’ I kept him as a man of his word, and I didn’t even think about what I was going to come back to, I just made sure to be the best I could be with my injury and everything for when I was ready to return.
I didn’t know about any of the Vision stuff until a few days before. It was one of those things where it was, ‘Okay, this is our thing,’ and it worked out,” he said on Busted Open Radio.
Bronson is coming off a huge win over Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. There are reports that he’s set to clash against Roman again at Crown Jewel. We should get the official match announcement tonight if that’s true.
