There Are No Plans For Shane McMahon To Return To WWE Television In The Near Future

Shane McMahon has been a huge part of WWE television since making his return to the company a few years back but it's now been revealed that we won't see him on RAW or SmackDown for quite some time...

Shane McMahon was recently defeated by Kevin Owens in a ladder match which ended with the authority figure being fired by the former Universal Champion. The whole point of the storyline was to phase authority figures and fans were clearly sick of McMahon dominating television.

Now, Dave Melter has confirmed that "he’s got nothing right now. You’re never gone. It appears that he is not going to be on TV for a while."

Other sites claim that there are no plans at all for Shane to return to TV and while he's bound to come back for at least one more match somewhere down the line, it's hard to imagine him being retired. Then again, him putting Owens over on his way out would make a lot of sense.

We'll be sure to keep you guys updated.
