This Is Reportedly Why Bayley And Alexa Bliss' WWE EXTREME RULES Kendo Stick Match Was Cut Short

Bayley and Alexa Bliss' kendo Stick on a pole match at last night's Extreme Rules PPV is already being called worst match of the year by some, and though that might be a tad harsh, it was unquestionably a disaster.

Even if this was a situation where WWE plans to draw out this feud for a while longer (it isn't) and eventually put Bayley over as anything other than an incompetent idiot, the story they told in the buildup to this match was still rendered completely moot by the outcome. Aside from this, the match only lasted about 4 minutes, and apparently there's a reason for that.

The powers that be were reportedly taken aback by the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the previous Raw's "This is Your Life" segment and decided to cut the feud, and the match, short. If this is true it definitely seems to be another instance of the talent being punished for creative's bad decisions, but obviously there could be more to it than we realize.

In any case, Nia Jax is now being lined up to be Alexa's new opponent, while Bayley will most likely continue to be booed because WWE is completely clueless about what makes her character work.
