This Week's RAW Ratings May Spell Doom For More Segments Like The Ultimate Deletion

The ratings are in for this week's episode of RAW and it could be bad news for the Ultimate Deletion as the third hour drop was surprisingly significant on Monday. Hit the jump for the latest figures...

The Ultimate Deletion was crazy, unlike anything we've seen on RAW before, and absolutely brilliant but could it be the last match of its type? The ratings for this week's show are in and while it was a solid number (3,327,000 viewers compared to last Monday's 3,352,000 viewers), the final hour lost over 400,000 viewers, a bad sign for the Ultimate Deletion which took place during that part of RAW.

WWE didn't put the match on Hulu and Michael Cole actually apologised before it aired, something many believe could be Vince McMahon's words as others in the company have pushed for him to explore the world created by Matt Hardy when he was part of TNA. It's also been reported that it wasn't even shown to those in the building at RAW, another sign WWE didn't have much faith in it.

We'll now have to wait and see what the future holds in store for the Woken Universe but it was an awesome segment and one of the best things WWE has done for quite some time. A
third hour drop for RAW is also common, so here's hoping the company doesn't put too much stock in that. What did you think of the Ultimate Deletion? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
